With the successful completion of structural glass entrances at its’ Carrefour Laval store, La Maison Simons entrusted CPA Structural Glass to conceive and participate in the execution of the main entrance atrium addition to the Place Ste-Foy location.

The grandiose atrium located on Laurier Boulevard gave CPA the opportunity to demonstrate its’ knowhow: a roof and glass canopy supported by glass beams as well as suspended glass fins from a steel structure optimized to control deflections.

Careful planning enabled the integration of services within the tubular members of the roof structure while fresh air is distributed using the perforated columns acting as large diffusers.
