Inspired by Scandinavian style and conveniently located in the heart of Solar Uniquartier in Brossard, the RC12 Complex unveils a sumptuous condo and apartment tower (Nobel), a modern office tower (B3), and a commercial podium.
The B3 building has 21,370 sq. m. (230,000 sq. ft.) of surface area spread over 13 floors, making it the tallest office tower in Solar Uniquartier.
Integrated on the first level, the commercial podium is composed of 1 floor under B3, and brings together the public spaces and marketplaces intended for passengers from the Du Quartier station arriving via the bridge connected to the REM. Under the podium, three floors of underground parking will accommodate up to 521 cars.
Technical challenges :
- Several column transfers to accommodate a diversified building program : 3 levels of underground parking, a commercial podium and offices
- Design of a foundation near a neighbouring building allowing a vehicular link to future buildings
- Docking the building's structure with the pedestrian walkway of the Du Quartier REM station
- Integration of architectural stairs in the B3 office tower
