If you are looking for some “structural” reading during this period of confinement, we invite you to view the most recent edition of the Advantage Steel magazine of the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC) which features the Humaniti Complex on its cover. 

The article alludes to the particular challenges represented by the design and construction of the 3-storey high steel transfer structure located at the base of the hotel’s volume composed of 12 floors in total. This forms the “bridge” between the office volume located to the West and the 39-story tower located at the East end.

Moreover, our vice-president Félix Bédard won the “Young Engineer / Architect of the Year” award for this design.
