“The hotly awaited Four Seasons Hotel Montreal opened last month further enhancing the group’s reputation as one the world’s finest luxury hotel groups. The striking new building, in glittering black and metal, was designed by Lemay and Sid Lee Architecture. The interiors, including guest rooms, spa, ballroom and public areas were designed by Paris-based firm Gilles & Boissier, in collaboration with Montreal-based architect and designer Philip Hazan. From the moment you enter the hotel from the street and see the square pink and white marble sculptures that double as stools, you realise you’re entering a special space, where every detail has been carefully considered.”
