Martin Houle, Architect RAIC and Associate at ELEMA had the pleasure of being part of the jury for the 2018 Awards of Excellence of the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction – Québec in recognition of his colleagues in architecture and engineering.

In the company of Julie-Anne Chayer (President of the Canada Green Building Council – Québec), France Goyet (President and Publisher of Inno Magazine and the Soirée des Grands Bâtisseurs), Nathalie Roy (Associate Professor in the Faculty of Engineering of Université de Sherbrooke) and Michel Vaillancourt (General Manager of Acier Leroux – Québec Region), the jury had to select the winning projects in 12 categories from the 29 finalists.

The purpose of these awards is:

– Highlight the best steel construction achievements for their beauty, uniqueness and originality;
– Highlighting excellence of projects and Quebec know-how;
– Valuing the work and collaboration of professionals.

The winning projects will be unveiled this Thursday at the Casino de Montréal.
