On June 18, our junior engineer Mathieu Choinière had the opportunity to present the results of his research work at the 12th Canadian Conference on Earthquake Engineering. His research, conducted during his master’s degree at the Université de Sherbrooke, focuses on the soil-structure interaction and the seismic behavior of the gravitational system of reinforced concrete buildings.

This event, which took place from June 17 to 20 at Château Frontenac in Quebec City, is the largest international scientific conference on seismic engineering in Canada, an event that brings together every four years more than 450 specialists in structural engineering from all corners of the planet.
