Last weekend, our architect-associate Martin Houle was invited as juror for the 2nd edition of this one-of-a-kind charrette organized by AluQuébec – Grappe industrielle de l’aluminium du Québec.
Combining architecture, structure and design students around an aluminum project, this year’s edition was memorable for the overall friendship developed among the 30 students!
For 2021, the challenge was to design an aluminum pedestrian footbridge spanning the Saint-Charles River in the new Pointe-aux-Lièvres eco-district in Quebec City.
We invite you to consult the link below to know the three winning teams and we congratulate all the participants as well as the organizing committee for this incredible event!
