ELEMA had the immense pleasure of collaborating with the internationally renowned Quebec artist Pascale Girardin on the realization of her superb work “Contemplation” installed in the open atrium of the Four Seasons Montreal Hotel & Residences project, a project in which we also designed the building structure.

In particular, we specified:

– The thickness of aluminum for the 4 variations of flowers and petals on which 24K gold leaves are partially applied. The diameters of these 94 elements range from 20″ (500 mm) to 45″ (1,150 mm)
– Anchors of these elements to vertical cables
– The type of cable to be used as well as the anchors to the 9th floor slab and the 18th floor suspension system
– Suspension beams 10 “(250 mm) in diameter and their anchors to the concrete parapets surrounding the atrium
