Our firm believes in the vital links between architecture and structural engineering. That’s why we award a $500 bursary each year to a student in Cégep de Saint-Laurent’s Architectural Technology program who has brilliantly integrated these two fields into their final project.
We have a long history with this programme as four of our employees are graduates, some of whom have even decided to go into structural engineering: Corinne Revel (CPI), Félix-Antoine Dufour, Mario Gomez, and Mégan Miron.
Last Thursday, our associate Martin Houle (Architect MRAIC) had the pleasure of awarding the 2024 ELEMA Scholarship Award to Natacha Dubé.
The architectural concept for her Trio Vert project perfectly illustrates how a thoughtful structure can articulate captivating massing to create bright and engaging spaces. The attention to detail, the clarity of the drawings, and the graphic attention paid to sections and elevations also impressed the entire team.
Congratulations, Natacha!
